SUSD School Calendar Options Survey

SUSD previously established instructional calendars through the 2024-25 school year and is in the process of developing new ones for future school years.

Many thanks to the nearly 5,000 staff and parents/family members who responded to our Initial Calendar Survey that sought stakeholder input on the most important considerations to guide us in the construction of future years’ instructional calendars.

Based on your responses, the District’s calendar team has generated two calendar options each for the 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 school years. Key start and end dates, recesses, and early releases are indicated in images in the survey. All options include a five-day school week and a continuation of approximately one early release day per month for professional development.

Please indicate your preference between the two calendar options for the 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 school years. (This survey will be open April 9 - April 20.)
