At Cherokee Elementary School, we are more than a school - we are a community. For over 50 years, Cherokee has been a place where students are known, supported, and challenged to thrive. That legacy exists because of families like yours.
Right now, our community matters more than ever.
Through every season, our Cherokee families show up- for teachers, for one another, and most importantly, for our kids. Our Spring Gala is more than a celebration, it is our opportunity to stand together and invest in the elementary school experience that our children deserve.
On March 28, 2026, join us for Cherokee's Gilded Desert Gala: an Elevated Evening for Bright Futures. Hosted by the Cherokee APT, this event is the primary fundraiser supporting the programs, people, and resources that make Cherokee exceptional.
The funds we raise directly support students in the following ways:
- salaries for 13 classroom aides
- additional funds for classroom supplies, including our Speech, LRC, OT, Library, and more
- programs and offerings, such as Athletes in Training staff for daily recess games and activities
- campus and playground improvements, including shade structures, swing set, sandboxes, turf, and community garden
These are not extras- they are essential to who we are.
Whether you donate, sponsor, contribute an auction item, or raise your paddle high that evening, your participation sends a powerful message: We believe in our school. We believe in our kids. We show up for them.
Thank you for being the heart of Cherokee. Let's make this the most successful gala yet.
