COMMUNITY RELATIONS - Cherokee Gives Back
HOLIDAY ANGELS – Assist in distributing Holiday Angel tags the week before Thanksgiving break; help coordinate and deliver gifts to recipient school – beginning of December
SCHOOL EVENTS
FALL SOCIAL – Adult social event. A great way to get to know your fellow Cherokee families. Enjoy a casual evening hosted at a private home with food, fun, and beverages.
TRUNK OR TREAT – Classroom Trunk Decorating Contest, Food Trucks, Bounce Houses, Cake Walk and MORE!! Cherished Cherokee Event!
ART MASTERPIECE – Lead art presentations in the classroom and help students develop artist-inspired work to be displayed during the Cherokee Art Walk; all materials and background information is provided; variable number of hours from TBD.
ART WALK/OPEN HOUSE – Assist in hanging art work prior to event; perform assigned duties during the Art Walk Open House; Assist in distributing art work to correct classrooms and Art Room at event conclusion.
SCHOOL RELATIONS
PICTURE DAYS – Keep students organized and gorgeous on picture days.
STAFF APPRECIATION – Coordinate meals and gifts for Teacher Appreciation week; minimal time commitment.
SPIRIT WEAR – Help chair promote spirit wear purchasing and then help distribute to classes: throughout the year.
END OF YEAR VOLUNTEER HAPPY HOUR – Work with chair to organize event.
YEARBOOK – Help assemble pages for the school yearbook; variable time commitment.
SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHER – Take photos at events for yearbook images; variable time.
SCHOOL SUPPORT – ON Campus Volunteers

PARKING LOT/CROSSWALK – Expedite the carpool process during drop-off and pick-up; regularly scheduled times through the school year.
CAFE ASSISTANCE – Assist cafeteria during lunch time to supervise children
