The Cherokee Dads Club’s (“CDC” - yes, we are going with the CDC) goal is to build a community within and around the school as well as being a trusted partner for the school administrators and staff. We want to be the group that anyone can reach out to for help. We do this by being proactive, responsive, by raising funds and by volunteering throughout the year. We want this group to be fun, have fun and give back to Cherokee.
Mission:
We are Cherokee Dads focused on building community, helping, and keeping the school safe and having fun. We put the ‘Fun’ in Fundraising.
Purpose:
We want to be visible on campus. We believe that when dads are present on campus and in our children’s lives, the school and community are better. We want to proactively support the teachers and staff by giving back with our time and resources.
The Dads Club will hold several activities/events this year for social and fundraising purposes. We also raise money through annual membership fees. We will work together with school leadership and the APT to determine the best use of raised funds.
